It’s okay to cry.
I work as an Executive coach and maybe you think I have it all sorted.
But yesterday was hard for me.
Nothing catastrophic happened.
In the light of the tragedy that is playing out on across our land and world it is insignificant.
I felt shame and guilt thinking I was making a fuss.
But the feelings of loss and uncertainty would not leave me.
Finally I shut the bathroom door and had a cry.
Was I losing it?
Was I cracking up?
Was I relieving the tension that was building up in my body?
Today is a new day and I feel better.
So whoever you are, whatever role you do, or even did, allow yourself space to really look at how you feel and feel it.
Your fears and anxieties need space to surface so that you can restore your equilibrium.
